origami daffodils

 Yesterday Mum and I googled how to make origami daffodils.  We had to fold little pieces of paper into triangles and then we glued them together.  This is how they turned out.

going to Mrs Urmson

Mrs Urmson is a teacher that helps kids.  Mrs Urmson teachers kids Short and long vowels.  Carter and I go to Mrs Urmson on Mondays and Tuesday and Wednesday. I do spelling and Reading with Mrs Urmson.  I like going to Mrs Urmson.  do you have a private teacher?      

This about my holiday

 On Wednesday I went to Christchurch with Toby and Mum and MIla. We went to Christchurch for my birthday. We stayed at a motel and I slept in a master bed. A master bed is a big bed  . And we went to time Zone in Riccarton. And we went to Riccarton mall.  Then we went to KFC and the chicken was the best. And then we went to the motel that we were staying at. Then We went home.  I stayed in Christchurch for 7 days.  And the weather was better than hokitika.     

Term 2

This term we have been learning about tidy numbers and place value.  I have been learning about mostly about place value.  I most enjoyed P.E. with Naomi.  In P.E. Naomi just tried to teach us to play soccer.  Yesterday we  did a Kahoot with Mr Abbott.   In the past week we have been learning matariki.  We did some art, read about Matariki, made flax boat baskets and played Matariki games.

We got to make our own website.  I made mine with Micah M and Toby.  I liked doing this.

Mr Abbott taught us how to do an animated gif.  It was real fun.  Have you ever made an animated gif?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

Matariki anamashin

 Yesterday my class did Matariki art and if you look at my photo and you can see want I have done. but you need a pencil and a black paper and a white mounting paper and a crayon and need seven stars. That is the way have to make the matariki panting.

 Today the worlds biggest skateboard came to Kaniere school.  And these are the names that brot it here Matt James and Beaumont.  And did you no that the bigsist skateboard is 18 times larger then a real skateboard.  

Tangrams

 Today our class did Tangrams.   And want  is Tangras it is when you make the shape.  And I learnt  how to make a airplane if you look at the potaw. have you ever made a Tangram.

The marching Ants

 the marching Ants.   was had to practrsed with counters, dots on the floor look for pattern.  I did it becase it was a classroom challenge.  and you have to yous screencasty.  Do you have other prolems like this?

   

Chromebook Pet

I had to crop the images. I had to put a background in. We had to get images to make a pet. Every class has to follow the Kawa of Care.  You have to use explore to git the images.

Reciprocal Reading

We have been Learning how to do reciprocal reading. First you have a leader who decides what job each person will do. The jobs are predictor who guesses what might happen in the book.
The questioner thinks about what you already know or would like to know and asks some questions. The Clarifier asks if there are any words or sentences that you do not understand.  Finally the summariser tells  us what happened on the page.  I am working on questioning because I am not making long questions.
