Hi Hunter. I can see that you have found a lot of objects but why did you have to find these? Was there a special list or theme of things that you had to find? I wonder what the hardest object is was to find on your scavenger hunt? Did anyone help you? I am particularly wondering why the rolling pin is in your collection. Maybe you are getting ready to do some more baking! Mrs Phelps
Hi Mrs Phelps Mrs Long gave us a list of shapes to find in our house. Mum , Dad and Mila helped find the shapes. the hardest thing to find was a hexagon shape so i just cut one out of paper. the rolling pin was for the cylinder shape. thank you for your comment.
Hi Hunter. Thanks for letting me know. That was clever thinking to cut your own hexagon shape out. It was a great idea to use your rolling pin as the cylinder shape you needed too as well as being handy for your next lot of baking! Mrs Phelps
Hunter you have been working so well. I like the shapes you have found around your home. Yes the hexagonal one seems to be a bit tricky. Good thinking to make one out of paper. I wonder if dad has some tools that might have an hexagonal shape on the end?? Maybe you could get him to look.
Kia ora Hunter, Well done on creating this blogpost about the scavenger hunt that you did! Scavenger hunts are great activities when you want to have some fun, or are looking for a fun way to fill in some spare time. I can remember doing scavenger hunts with my little sister, and we would run around our house looking for all of the objects on our list. Quite often scavenger hunts will have a theme, with each item on the list having something in common with the rest. Did your scavenger hunt have a theme? If so, what was it? How long did the scavenger hunt take you to complete? Were there any objects that you had difficulty finding? It would be awesome if you could reply to this comment and let me know! I really like how there is such a wide variety of items that you found. From egg cartons to books and rolling pins, it’s amazing to see all of the different objects you were able to find. Keep blogging! Nga mihi
