Hi Hunter Wow, that was a huge hail storm! We have only had a few days of wild weather during the lockdown, so we have been very lucky. Did the hail feel like you expected it to feel? Was it really hard or sort of soft once it was in the shape of a ball?
I did not get any hail at my house Hunter. Isn't it funny that some parts of town get hail and other parts miss out. It would have been very loud on your roof. Was the hail cold when you held it? How long did it take to melt?

Kia ora Hunter, Wow, a hail storm definitely would have been an exciting way to end your day! I really enjoy hail storms, especially when I am lying in bed at night trying to sleep. The soft ‘pat’ of the hail hitting my roof so delicately and gently always makes me smile, and seeing the hail lying on the ground reminds me of when I would try to make snow angels on the ground as a child. Have you ever made snow angels with hail? Did you go out and play in the hail? If so, what games did you play? I noticed in your photo how you are wearing short pyjamas. I thought this was pretty funny considering you were outside with all of that ice! Were you cold being outside? How long were you holding the snowball for?
